KATHMANDU, Feb 2: A visiting Nepali parliamentary delegation led by Chairman Raj Kishor Yadav held a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar on Friday.
Dr. Jaishankar stated that there was a productive discussion on deepening cooperation and fostering closer linkages between the two countries. He also expressed appreciation for the delegation's broad-based sentiment in favor of stronger cooperation between Nepal and India.
The parliamentary team comprising members from the parliamentary committee on International Relations and Tourism under the House of Representatives (HoR) is on a visit to India from January 30 to February 6.
