Foreign Secretary Lamsal calls on Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, who is currently on a visit to India, held a courtesy meeting with India’s External Affairs Minister Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar (S Jaishankar).

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, who is currently on a visit to India, held a courtesy meeting with India’s External Affairs Minister Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar (S Jaishankar).


On that occasion, various aspects of Nepal-India relations as well as the progress of the projects being run in Nepal with the support of the Indian government were discussed, according to the Indian Embassy.

Foreign Secretary Lamsal is in New Delhi to attend the opening ceremony of the 8th Asian Economic Dialogue 2024, scheduled to be held in Pune, India from Thursday.


Furthermore, during her visit, Secretary Lamsal's delegation is set to hold bilateral discussions with Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra, as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


The Asian Economic Dialogue is a multilateral conference organized annually. The conference is jointly organized by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and Pune International Center.


Representatives of various countries will participate in the program to deliberate on contemporary issues. After participating in the program, Foreign Secretary Lamsal is scheduled to return home on March 1.
