The match between Nepal and Palestine will be played at the PAS Stadium in Tehran at 16:15NST.
Although the match has does not have much significance and will be an issue of prestige for both the teams because both team have already been knocked out of the qualifiers. Nepal is yet to open account and hit the bottom in the five team group. Nepal lost all its last three matches of the group. Palestine with three points stands on fourth position after beating Afghanistan in its first match.
However, both the teams are aiming to end the competition with a positive note and are optimistic of winning Tuesday's match.
"Since the match will be last one so we want to end it in a high note. We will put everything against Palestine," said Nepal coach Jack Stefanowski, who believes that Nepal has the potential to beat the opponent.
While, Palestine coach Abdelnassser Barakat said that his side also want to defeat Nepal in its last match. "We will try to win the match although Nepal has young talents. Our target will be to put best game against Nepal," he said.
Nepal faced 5-0 defeat at host Iran in its first match and lost to Afghanistan 2-0 in its second match. Nepal was humiliated by 6-0 against Saudi Arabia in its third match on Sunday. Palestine beat Afghanistan 2-0 in its opener but lost to Saudi Arabia 1-0 and Iran 3-0 in its second and third match.
In the last match of the qualifiers on Tuesday, host Iran will play against Saudi Arabia which will determine the team to progress for the finals. Iran has won all three previous matches and stands on top of the table with nine points. Saudi Arabia with two wins and a draw is second on the standings with seven points. Afghanistan with four points sits third with four points after two defeats one win and draw each.
