NC to continue obstructing House, TMDP gives PM two days

KATHMANDU, April 13: Main opposition Nepali Congress has told the prime minister that it would continue disrupting the parliament session until the commitments made by the PM are implemented.[break]



“We told the PM that the House cannot run smoothly until the past agreements are met,” said Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat coming out the meeting. He said the NC team sought progress made so far toward implementing the past commitments made by the PM in the House.



According to Mahat, NC team has strongly raised the issues of culture of impunity promoted by the Maoists, including the political protection to UML cadre Prachanda Thaiba’s murderer. "We want parliament to run from today but all the parties should be convinced in the House that PM is sincere to materialize his words into action," said Mahat.
