KATHMANDU, May 14: The Nepali Congress (NC) has said it will continue its protest in Parliament until Prime Minister Balendra Shah appears in the House of Representatives (HoR).
Speaking during Thursday’s House session, NC Parliamentary Party Whip Nishcal Rai warned that the opposition would keep obstructing proceedings if the Prime Minister does not attend the policy and programme discussion in Parliament.

Rai also referred to past remarks from ruling party lawmakers, saying Parliament is not a “tea-drinking courtyard” but a “Gurukul,” underscoring the seriousness of parliamentary proceedings.
