Nabil Bank suppports orphanage

KATHMANDU, July 10: Nabil Bank Ltd has said that it provided financial assistance of Rs 75,000 to Srijansil Baal Sewa Pariwar -- an orphanage. Issuing a statement on Friday, the bank said that the assistance, as part of the bank's corporate social responsibility, will be used to procure food and arrange shelter for children in the orphanage.

The bank said that it has provided a total of Rs 300,000 to the organization this year. Nabil Bank's CEO Sashin Joshi handed over the check on Friday to Pariwar's chairperson Uma Basnet. During the handover ceremony, Joshi expressed satisfaction on being a part of such a noble cause initiated by Srijansil Baal Sewa Pariwar, according to the statement.
