Minor killed in Chitwan road mishap

CHITWAN, Sept 7: A minor was killed in a road mishap in Chitwan on Monday morning.



Six-year-old Bipal Gurung of Indrapuri of Gitanagar-8 died when a bus (Ga 1 Cha 1349) carrying school children hit him at Tiger Chowk, the eastern part of the district.



He breathed his last in course of treatment at Bharatpur Medical College, police said.



Similarly, a 12-year-old Rochak Bhandari was also injured in the incident and he is undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, according to the police.



The driver is under the police control along with the vehicle, it is said.
