Talking briefly to journalists in Biratnagar on Wednesday morning, he said NTY-2011 would be concluded successfully even by taking loans for the event.[break]
He held the UCPN (Maoist) and the CPN-UML responsible for the present political stalemate in the country and urged these two parties to give up their obduracy and make joint efforts to find a political way out of the stalemate.
Minister Bhandari said there is no other alternative except consensus for resolving the present national crisis.
Stating the candidacy of leader of the Nepali Congress, Ram Chandra Paudel for the post of prime minister is not an obstacle for forging consensus, he argued that Paudel need not withdraw the candidacy.
Minister Bhandari who is also the leader of the Madhesi Peoples Right Forum (Democratic) said the government and the UCPN (Maoist) have reached an agreement to conclude the peace process by managing the Maoist combatants within four months and stressed on implementation of this agreement at the earliest.
He also said the government is actively working to bring the full-fledged budget within this month.
