JHAPA, Oct 23: Police have arrested two middle-aged men with brown sugar.
Santosh Prasai, 38, and Keshav Basnet, 61, of Garamani- 1 were arrested along with 50 grams of brown sugar.
They were arrested at Mechi Bridge of Mechi Municipality-10, after their motorcycle, Me 7 Pa 5734, was stopped for a police check-up by the joint team of District Police Office, Jhapa and Area Police Office, Kakadbhitta.
The brown sugar was seized from Prasai, police said, adding that they are further investigating the case.
