KATHMANDU, Oct 6 – CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that his party stands for holding the House of Representatives elections on the announced date.
Speaking to reporters after the Secretariat meeting of the General Convention Organizing Committee on Monday, Chairman Dahal said that the party’s central committee has decided to prepare for the elections scheduled for March 5. He also said that he is in talks with leaders of other political parties toward that end
“We believe the elections must be held on the announced date. All political parties should participate in it. Our party will actively take part in the elections and move forward. We are currently holding discussions with other parties, and I think the results of those talks will be seen in a few days,” he said.
