KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Police have arrested a 28-year-old man from Dhanusha for allegedly engaging in illegal cryptocurrency trading involving transactions worth more than Rs 2.16 billion.
Sunil Kumar Yadav of Sabaila Municipality-12 has so far traded cryptocurrency worth Rs 2,160,120,821, according to the Central Police Newsroom.

A team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested Yadav in coordination with the Dhanusha District Police Office.
Police said the arrest followed information that betting was being conducted through various electronic platforms and online betting applications, involving large-scale illegal cryptocurrency transactions.
