CHITWAN, May 9: CPN (Maoist Center) cadre Siphal Chepang, who was also candidate of ward member in Kalika Municipality of Chitwan, was killed in lightning strikes in the district this morning.

Chepang was struck with the thunderbolt when he was inside his own house.
According party's mayoral candidate for the municipality Ram Dhwaj Dallakoti, injured Chepang was rushed to hospital but he succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.
