Kumari Bank, Russlav Bank sign remittance pact

KATHMANDU: Kumari Bank and Russlav Bank Limited of Russia have signed an agreement to provide remittance service from Russia through Kumari Bank and its over 1,000 remittance payout locations. [break]



 Issuing a press statement, the bank said remittances sent from more than 100 countries can be easily received from any of its 28 branches and its remittance pay out locations. Uday K Upadhyay, acting CEO of Kumari Bank, and Alexey Y Abrameytsev, representative of Russlav Bank, signed an understanding to this effect on Sunday. Russlav Bank Limited has been remitting funds from more than 100 countries with 120,000 agent networks, according to the statement.
