HBL, Tranglo sign agreement to facilitate remittance transfer

KATHMANDU, July 7: Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) and Tranglo Sendirian Berhad (Tranglo) have signed a remittance agreement. Issuing a statement, the commercial bank said that it signed the agreement with one of Asia's leading money transfer operator to offer inward remittance service to Nepal.

KATHMANDU, July 7: Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) and Tranglo Sendirian Berhad (Tranglo) have signed a remittance agreement. Issuing a statement, the commercial bank said that it signed the agreement with one of Asia's leading money transfer operator to offer inward remittance service to Nepal.



"This will at least benefit 2.2 million Nepali working abroad as customers will now have more options than ever for sending funds home to friends and family in Nepal," reads the statement.



Ashoke SJB Rana, CEO of HBL, and Sia Hui Yong, CEO of Tranglo, signed the agreement amidst a function held on Monday, according to the statement.
