Khatri wins bronze

KATHMANDU, May 4: Fupu Lamu Khatri of Nepal won bronze under women´s category in the Fourth Youth Asian Judo Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand.



She knocked Sirina of Thailand in 63 kg category to secure the third position.



According to Nepal Judo Association President Deepak Harsha Bajracharya, Kazakhstan and China took home gold and silver.



Earlier, in 2008 Sunita Magar had won bronze in the Youth Championship.



Altogether, 259 players from 17 nations participated in the edition.
