KATHMANDU, April 16: Shrikanta Khatiwada from Tanahun has been appointed as the vice chairman of Gandaki Province Policy and Planning Commission.
Khatiwada, affiliated with the UML, was appointed by Chief Minister Khagaraj Adhikari and administered the oath of office and secrecy. He was appointed according to the decision of the Council of Ministers on April 9.
Chief Minister Khagaraj has again appointed Subas Adhikari from the Maoist quota as a member of the commission.
Adhikari was appointed as a member for the fourth time as the government changed.
