Issuing a press release, the Office of the Minister, on Sunday, said Khanal was active in country's democratic politics and in the centre of student politics in 2032BS.
Mr Khanal, who was an assistant professor in 2034BS was recalled from Pyuthan district by the Election Commission, accusing him of advocating for the multi-party system, when he was deputed for the referendum of 2036BS.
Similarly, in 2046 BS movement, he had a leading role from the employees. He engaged in publishing and publicizing the Nepali Congress documents and publicity materials, including Tarun magazine, being close to leader GP Koirala.
He has also served a personal secretary of then Prime Minister GP Koirala in 2048BS.
Mr Khanal receiving MSc and MPA is the mahasamiti member of the Nepali Congress. RSS
