A meeting of the PAC held on Wednesday issued a directive to this effect after holding a meeting with HSEB officer bearers to learn about alleged financial irregularities in the answer sheet procurement deal.
The PAC has also asked the HSEB to produce 100 sample copies of answer sheets to assess the quality of paper used and provide exact number of answer sheets sent to various 787 examination centers across the country during the recently held examinations.
HSEB Vice Chairman Upendra Koirala, Member Secretary Ram Bahadur Khadka and Administration Chief D B Khadka were present during the PAC meeting.
HSEB had awarded the contract for printing 4.425 million answer sheets for 700,000 students appearing in this year´s grade XI and XII exams, to Om Shiva Printing Press and Surya Deep Press of Kathmandu. However, a number of exam centers in several districts complained that they did not get sufficient answer sheets.
