President Yadav made this urge during a meeting held with Coordinator of the Committee and Chairman of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) (Democratic), Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar at the Rastrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas, on Thursday.
Talking to media persons after the meeting, Gachchhadar said that the President urged the Committee to be more active in creating a favourbale environment for the coming elections by holding talks and discussion with the dissenting parties as soon as possible.
On the occasion, Gachchhadar familiarized President Yadav about the latest political development and decisions of the Committee.
The MJF-Democratic Chairman said that President Yadav expressed the view that the election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) would be held on November 19 as election is the proper means of ending the existing political stalemate.
Committee Coordinator Gachchhadar shared that the coming meeting of the Committee, scheduled for next week, would make decision to hold talks with the dissenting parties including the CPN-Maoist.
He further said that the Committee was ready to make any kind of sacrifice if the dissenting parties make written commitment of participating in the election.
Leader Gachchhadar said the date for the election would not be changed from November 19 as environment conducive to elections has been already created. The 25-point Ordinance should not be scrapped, he added.
Gachchhadar questioned that why the CPN-Maoist is hesitating to participate in the election, and made it clear that the Committee has not neglected their demands.
During the around one-hour meeting the issue of budget was also discussed, Gachchhadar said and added that that the new budget should be for one year.
