DHANGADI, Oct 8: A rally was taken out today against the ritualistic animal sacrifice in the district at a time when Hindus are preparing for animal sacrifice in name of Goddess Durga Bhawani on the occasion of Mahaastami of Bada Dashain festival.
The non-violence rally was organized by Brahmakumari Ishworiya University Rajyog Training Centre of Dhangadi. The rally went around the major thoroughfares of the Bazaar areas and ended at the Shanti Park.
On the occasion, Center's Chief, Hira Didi, said killing innocent animals would not bring peace in the society and also noted that the Vedic Satatan Dharma did not condone animal sacrifice. RSS
