KATHMANDU, Sept 21: Meteorologist Binod Pokharel says the forecast of heavy rain in Nepal from September 24 to 28 remains in place.
Weather models differ on how much rain will fall and which areas will be affected, but all indicate a possibility of heavy rainfall, he said. Some models project more than 400 millimetres of rain.

“Although different models show some variation in the amount of rainfall, which could exceed 400 millimetres, and the areas affected, they all point to the possibility of heavy rain,” Pokharel wrote on social media.
He urged people to prepare and stay alert to the risks that heavy rain could bring.
