KATHMANDU, July 26: After continuous fall in price for last two weeks, gold price rebounded in the domestic market on Sunday.
Against Friday's price of Rs 47,200 per tola (11.664 grams), the yellow metal shined by Rs 800 per tola on Sunday to trade at Rs 48,000.The downstairs growth of the price of the yellow metal in the international market and government's reduction in import tax on gold announced in the budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2015/16 had brought down gold price to four-year low last week.
Government has reduced the custom tax on gold import by Rs 100,000 per kg to Rs 320,000.
