Five government employees' organizations withdraw protest programmes

Kathmandu, June 10: The five employees´ organizations under the judiciary have withdrawn their Monday´s three-hour-long protest programme at all the courts and tribunals in Kathmandu valley going to be organised with an objective of piling pressure to fulfill the 57-point demands including appointment of judges.



The organizations, which had disrupted Supreme Court (SC) activities for two-hour on Sunday, had announced to halt activities in courts and tribunals for three-hour on Monday and to close courts and tribunals across the nation on Tuesday as recommendation process was forwarded for the appointment of judges at the District Courts and Appellate Courts by the Judicial Council. The Nepal Civil Servants Organization, Nepal Civil Service Employees Union, Nepal Rastriya Karmachari Sangathan, Rastriya Swatantra Karmachari Milan Kendra and Rastrasebak Karmachari Sangathan are the five organizations.
