Advocate Sukailal Verma was hit by a wood by the gang at his law farm at Charbahaini Chowk at around 10 am this morning.A police beat is situated at a distance of 200 meters from the incident site. According to police, pamphlets signed the party secretary Man Bahadur Rokaya was left at the firm.
The pamphlet has charged the advocate of attaining other’s property through forgery among others. The Chand-led CPN-Maoist has accused the advocate of transferring ownership of 29 bighas of land at Fattepur of the district in his name.
Injured Verma is receiving treatment at the Nepalgunj Medical College.
