
Issuing a press release, the company said the festival drew a massive response from the public. The company had arranged huge trampolines, free balloons and face painting for children, various food stalls and a live concert featuring prominent music artistes such as Nima Rumba, Sheetal/Shuvani Moktan and Mukti and Revival, among others. "It was the first of its kind as we had arranged various attractions for people of all age groups," said Sanju Koirala, the Corporate Communication Manager of NCell.
The festival also had NCell stalls from where subscribers were issued new connections. NCell had branded gifts with every purchase of new SIM and recharge card.
NIC scholarships
KATHMANDU, April 17: NIC Foundation has awarded scholarships to two visually impaired students from Jumla.
Issuing a press statement on Saturday, the foundation said the scholarships were distributed by Ashok Agrawal, coordinator of NIC Foundation.
Parshuram and Shanti were provided with the scholarships for a vocational computer training. They are among the three blind students who arrived in Kathmandu in search of financial help for their higher studies after passing SLC.
NIC Foundation offered them scholarships for two years for Proficiency Certificate Level studies in Education Faculty at Sanothimi Campus.
