KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Bangladesh have won the Under-19 Asia Cup title for the second consecutive time. In the final match held in Dubai, Bangladesh defeated India by 59 runs to claim the title.
In this tournament, the Nepali team was eliminated from the group stage. Bangladesh, which are in Nepal’s group, won the title.
After losing the toss and being invited to bat first, Bangladesh scored 198 runs in 49.1 overs.
India fell short of the title due to their weak batting while chasing a target of 199 runs. India was bowled out for just 139 runs in 35.2 overs.
