KATHMANDU, March 28: The arrest of CPN-UML Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Saturday sparked protests across Kathmandu Valley, including Bhrikutimandap, Chabahil, and Chyasal.
The party’s student wing, the All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU), led demonstrators who burned tires and copies of the Gauri Bahadur Karki-led commission report, which investigated the Gen Z movement, and blocked roads, demanding Oli’s immediate release.
