KATHMANDU, Dec 5: All Nepal National Free Students Union ( ANNFSU) protested on Tuesday saying that there was manipulation in the purchase and sale of Ncell's shares. ANNFSU, the student wing of the main opposition party CPN-UML, protested in front of the Ncell office.
Those joining the protest chanted slogans such as ‘publish Ncell's income and expenditure’, ‘nationalize Ncell’, ‘investigate the controversial Ncell share sale’, etc.

Similarly, the protestors also carried placards with slogans such as ‘No Tax, No SIM’, ‘Reject Ncell’, ‘Down with a coalition government that feeds the mafia’, ‘Tax cheating is a crime’ etc.
ANNFSU Chairman Samik Badal warned that even Ncell vehicles will not be allowed to run if their demands are not met. There are suspicions of tax evasion after 80 percent of Ncell's shares were sold outside Nepal at a very low price.
