Adverse weather to continue until Wednesday

KATHMANDU, March 23: Light rain with thunderstorm that occurred in the central and eastern hilly region including the capital today is likely to continue until Wednesday.

According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather is likely to improve after Wednesday. Heavy winds, light rain and thunderstorm are normal in the pre-monsoon, says meteorologist Subash Rimal.


Generally monsoon in Nepal starts from June 10 to September 23.

Meanwhile, the division today organized a variety of programmes to mark the world meteorological day. Climate Change for Climate Action was the major theme for this year's world meteorological day. The day is being observed since 1961. RSS
