KATHMANDU, Nov 15: Six people have died in a jeep accident in Darchula. Another six people have been injured in the accident, according to police.
The jeep coming from Malikarjun to Gokuleshwar met with the accident around 4 AM this morning, according to Darchula's Chief District Officer Yagyaraj Joshi.
According to him, the jeep (Ma 1 Ja 338) carrying pilgrims returning from the festival at the local Malikarjun Temple, met with the accident at Bakjebala in Shailyashikhar Municipality-6.
He stated that the identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed and that the condition of the injured is critical. He also mentioned that arrangements are being made for a helicopter to rescue the injured.
