This special event will be held on Friday and Saturday and aims to celebrate the spirit of social entrepreneurship, said the organizer of Surya Nepal Asha Social Entrepreneurship Award issuing a press statement Thursday.[break]
Winner for the award will be chosen based on the potential his/her ideas or products have for making significant social contributions.
During the event, the 20 selected social entrepreneurs will present their ideas in the Bazaar. They will also participate in seminars in which the entrepreneurs will discuss their business ideas, established social entrepreneurs will share their stories, and experts will speak on access to finance, development of business plans and venture ideas.
According to ChangeFusion Nepal, the Bazaar will be a marketplace with a difference where participants will focus on exchanging ideas rather than just products. The Bazaar will remain open for public on both days.
