BANKE, Dec 21: Women entrepreneurs have urged the government to build a supportive environment for the women to participate in entrepreneurship, on the occasion of 15th Annual Women Entrepreneurs General Assembly held in Nepalgunj on Friday.
Arati Paudel, Minister for Agricultural, Land Management and Cooperatives of Province 5 inaugurated the program. It is good to observe, women progressing and coming forward in the sector of entrepreneurship in recent time, Minister Paudel said. We are delighted to have the general assembly being organized here in Banke and the association must set up other branches in every district of country to encourage women entrepreneurship so that women entrepreneurship flourishes further, she added.

Vice president and also the district coordinator of the committee Shova Gyawali presented the report on the challenges faced by the women entrepreneurs. Vice president Gyawali stressed on the association to come up with strong planning in future for social and economic empowerment of women.
Lawmaker Chaya Panta, President of Association of women entrepreneurs Sarada Subedi also spoke on the nation's desire to design a strong concrete plan for the active participation of women in the sector of entrepreneurship.
