According to Nepalese ambassador to Saudi Arabia Udaya Raj Pandey, with the evacuation of a Nepali national on Thursday all 18 Nepali nationals who had come in contact for rescue in Yemen have been repatriated.

Earlier, Indian authorities had rescued nine Nepalis to Djibouti earlier last week. They had managed to fly home on their own. Indian authorities had again rescued eight Nepalis from Yemen and flown them to India.

"With the rescue of one Nepali today with the help of Indian authorities, all Nepali nationals seeking assistance for rescue in Yemen have all been rescued," said Ambassador Pandey, who is concurrently accredited to Yemen.
