The deceased has been identified as Jeevan Bamjan,24, of Kalika-1, Kanchanpur, according to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi.
Bamjan was hit by the jeep with Indian registration number UP40T4583 heading toward the east. A driver's assistant, Bamjan had reportedly got down his bus to urinate when he was hit by the jeep, police said. RSS
