MPRF cancels election of central committee

 KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Central members of Madhesi People´s Rights Forum (MPRF) have cancelled the election of its central members amid turn of events, reported state-owned Nepal Television.



The party, third largest in the ruling coalition, decided to delegate the responsibility of nominating the central committee members to the party chairman during its national convention underway in Birgunj Tuesday afternoon.



Incumbent party chair Upendra Yadav was re-elected to the post unopposed earlier in the day.
