A team from the Lalitpur Police Sector Wednesday night detained Baral, the actress in the movie Chapali Height, and Dikpal Karki on charges of sexual exploitation and harassment.
Exiting from the police office after the questioning, Baral had said she would come back with evidence proving her innocence. On her facebook status, the actress, however, has denied having been detained by police.
A total of nine persons including Raj Ghimire, the actor who played opposite Baral in the adult themed movie, had lodged complaints with police against Baral and Karki. Police sources have said the nature of the charges against the duo is ‘serious’.
