LALITPUR, June 2: Senior leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the nation has headed to the constitutional and political crisis after the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly (CA).

The constitution was to be promulgated through political consensus among all and it was the issue related to all people and not only to the Maoist, Nepal said.

However, the government should take initiative with the leaders of political parties to blame Maoists for the present constitutional and political crisis, he added.

Leader Nepal said his party was not against federalism but some leaders from Madhesi and indigenous communities have been deviated due to falls publicity launched against the party.

During the program, Prof Krishna Pokhrel said differences of opinion were seen in all political parties but the political leaders should move ahead by institutionalizing the achievements received from the various movements. He said there was no alternative to political consensus.
