NEA to construct eight high-capacity substations in Kathmandu Valley to meet electricity demand till 2050

KATHMANDU, May 8: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is set to construct eight high capacity substations to improve the power transmission and distribution system of Kathmandu Valley. Substations of 400, 200 and 132 KV capacities are under construction in the valley.

PARBAT, Dec 20: Works on the construction of power transmission line of the Kaligandaki Hydropower Project have been affected as the project of national pride awaits orders to chop off trees for the purpose.
