PALPA, June 30: The construction of two motorable bridges connecting Syangja of Gandaki Province and Palpa of Province 5 has been halted because of faults in their designs. An Agreement to complete the construction of the bridges in three years was signed eight years ago.

I board a bus at broad daylight to return home but due to the terrible traffic, it is already dark when I reach home. Maybe many would think it's my fault. I struggle to rush home because somehow people may think it is my fault that drunkards and rapists and kidnappers roam the streets around my house after dusk. They may think it is my fault that these crooks abducted and raped a girl some weeks back.

On Tuesday April 25th, we marked two years since the earthquake struck Nepal but, for many of us, it felt a lot longer than just two years ago. KATHMANDU, Aug 10: As in earlier narcotics busts, Nepal Police have blamed the Department of Customs at Nepal’s only international airport-- Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA)-for inadequate surveillance on incoming drug smugglers and carriers, and for thus contributing to Nepal becoming a transit point for them.
