KATHMANDU, May 13: Cyclone Mocha developing in the Bay of Bengal will not have any significant impact on Nepal, according to the Weather forecasting division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

Bay of Bengal is now a critical theater for economic and strategic competition. It has always been a connector between South and Southeast Asia but now it is the focal point for competing connectivity initiatives.

Rainfall likely for next three days

KATHMANDU, April 26: Westerly winds active in Nepal since the past few days and the impact of local winds could lead to rainfall throughout the country. The westerly and local winds coupled with water vapour travelling from Bay of Bengal and Arab sea is leading to the continuous rainfall, says meteorologist Bibhuti Pokharel.
