Youth shot in Saptari

SAPTARI, Aug 4: A youth has sustained serious injuries after he was shot at in Konchabhakari-7 of Saptari on Saturday morning.



Ram Prasad Sah´s eighteen-year-old son Shyam Kumar has sustained injuries on his waist and legs, informed Saptari Police Chief Ganesh Thapa. [break]



Sah who was playing cards at Teer Gaun around nine this morning, was fatally shot after a scuffle ensued between the group during the game. However, the actual reason behind the shooting is yet to be established.



He is undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan. He is said to be in a critical condition, quoting the doctors, Saptari police said.



The police are searching the group involved in the shooting. The investigation on the case is underway said Police Chief Thapa.
