TAPLEJUNG, March 4: A youth was found dead on the Santhaka-Thukima road section in the Meringden Rural Municipality of Taplejung.
According to Police Inspector Bibek Basnet, spokesperson and information officer of the District Police Office, Taplejung, the youth, approximately 17-18 years old, was found dead.

Police said that his identity has not been revealed yet. A police team has been mobilized to the incident site. Police Inspector Basnet told Republica that they had initiated an investigation due to the suspicious nature of the incident.
