Taplejung, April 3: Two men were found dead in two different places in Taplejung.
According to Police Inspector Kushram Karki, Spokesman and Information Officer of Taplejung District Police Office, Bishal Thapa, 36, resident of Rautahat District Chandrapur Municipality-1, was found dead in the Kabeli River flowing through Sirijungha Rural Municipality.

Thapa was working as an excavator driver of the Kabeli-3 hydroelectric project running there. Karki said that the process for the post-mortem of the body has started and after completing the necessary legal process, the body will be handed over to the relatives.
Karki said that the post-mortem of the body will be done at the primary health center in Telok, the center of Sirijunga Rural Municipality and if it is not possible there, it will be brought to Taplejung District Hospital.
Similarly, Kumar BK, 34, who lives in Delevingne, Phungling Municipality Ward No. 2, was found dead on the side of the road near Simle. Police also said that the body was handed over to the relatives after the post-mortem and a detailed investigation into both the incidents is currently underway.
