The deceased has been identified as Salman Dahal, 17 of Diktel Municipality -6.
Dahal, who was out of the home since Thursday evening, was found dead yesterday afternoon.
His mobile, clothes and slippers were recovered from the river’s bank, police informed, adding that further investigation into the case is underway.
The dead body has been ferried to the Khotang District Hospital for postmortem.
