KATHMANDU, March 29: National Youth Assembly(NYA) 2017 has begun today at Nepal Administrative Training Academy(staff college) located in Jawalakhel, Kathmandu.
As many as five hundred youths from across the country are participating in the assembly.
Minister for Health Gagan Thapa inaugurated the assembly.
The major issues scheduled to be discussed at assembly encompass constructive roles of youths in local election, constitution amendment and implementation, transition to federal structure, and sustainable development goals, Director of Programs at Association of Youth Organizations Nepal (AYON) Babu Ram Pant informed Republica Online
National Planning Commission(NPC) member Swarnim Wagle , National Human Rights Commission(NHRC) member Mohana Ansari, UNDP Nepal country director Renaud Meyer and National Youth Council(NYC) representative Bhawana Bhatta are the guest speakers at the assembly.
