Writ petition filed against CJ-led govt again

KATHMANDU, March 14: A third writ petition has been filed at the Supreme Court against the appointment of Chief Justice Khila Raj Regmi as the chairman of the interim election government.



Advocates duo Dr Chandra Kanta Gyawali and Om Prakash Aryal have filed the petition on Thursday demanding Regmi ´s removal from the post of chairman.



The petitioners have stated that a person cannot head executive and judiciary at the same time which is against established doctrine of separation of power.
