The demonstration was changed into corner assembly after the participants rounded various parts of the city --- Sahidgate, Newroad, Ratnapark, Bagbazaar and Putalisadak beginning from Bhrikutimandap.
Speaking in the corner assembly director of Education.com Tara Man Rawal said thousands of people die of the disease every year that all people should be aware to prevent the disease.
Singer Nirnaya Shrestha said such awareness programmes should be taken to the villages as well.
Students, artists, businessmen, health workers including others participated on the rally.
