KATHMANDU, Feb 3: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Blood Cancer Society is organizing a charity event to raise funds for supporting the blood cancer patients with the tagline of “Another Chance – Every life deserves” on Saturday, Feburary 4, 2023 at Utpala Café from 11AM.

The event will include Musical performances, Poems reciting, Stand up comedies along with interesting indoor games and lucky draws for the audiences with a bumper prize of mountain flight ticket for one of our lucky winner. Prominent figures inclusing Actor Surakshya Panta popular singers and a music composer, leading Enterprenuer of Nepal Sanjog Koirala, and Comedy Artist Jibesh Singh Gurung will participate in the event. Similarly, the event will be honoured by some doctors from reputed hospitals who are continuously providing their services in the cancer related field and patients who have overcome as well are in the process of overcoming the disease.
Blood Cancer Society Nepal is a patient support group consisting of 7 core teams and 2000 patients of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia and Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumour. The Society as a whole is supporting patients emotionally, helping the neediest patients in their treatment and arranging patients support meets where they can learn and make people learn about their disease.
