Worker drowns in Trishuli River

DHADING, Sept 3:  A man has drowned in the Trishuli River while extracting sand on Monday.

DHADING, Sept 3:  A man has drowned in the Trishuli River while extracting sand on Monday.


The deceased has been identified as Praksh Thapa, 28, of Siddhalekh rural municipality-6, Belkhu, according to SP Dambar Bahadur BK.

Police with the workers had started search operation for the missing worker following the incident.


The workers have been extracting sand on the bank of the Trishuli River, risking their lives despite high level of water in the river due to monsoon.
