Manual worker disappears after falling into Trishuli river

RATNANAGAR (CHITWAN), July 3: A manual worker has disappeared after falling into the Trishuli river at Chandi Bhanjyang – 9 along the Muglin-Narayangadh road stretch. 



Two of his friends who stayed behind at the incident site have gone out of contact, police said. 



Narayan Bahadur Thapa, 30, of Birendranagar Municipality of Nuwakot district, who was working in the Muglin-Narayangadh Road Project, slipped from the roadside at 12 midnight and disappeared into the river below, said District Police Office, Chitwan. 



The eye witnesses' account suggests Thapa was heading to Mugling with friends when he fell into the Trishuli river. 



According to police, among the six travelling to Muglin, one fell into the river whereas two stayed behind at the site as three others left to inform the police. 



When the police arrived, the two persons waiting at the scene were also found to be missing. The police are searching for the missing persons. RSS
